About Me

I grew up in North Carolina, was saved as a child and called to into the ministry as a teenager. I have had the privilege of serving as a pastor for forty-one years in churches in North Carolina, South Carolina, Mississippi and Georgia. For the past fifteen years I have served as the editor of The Christian Index. I am  currently "redirecting" my ministry with a focus on preaching, writing and church renewal.

While all of us will surely be tempted to compromise in this secular world, I am determined to place my faith in Jesus Christ and the absolute, impeccable, truth of His Word, the Bible. I am so very grateful for the privilege I have had to preach in many of your churches. I have preached in Bible Conferences, Prayer Conferences, Evangelism Conferences, Church Revivals and Senior Adult Revivals and thank God for every opportunity to proclaim "the unsearchable riches of Christ."

Although I officially retired at the end of 2018, I am determined to continue to herald the unsearchable riches of God in Christ Jesus. As long as God grants me strength and a sound mind.
